'Race To Reduce Litters' Feral Spay/Neuter Program

How To Participate
If you are interested in assisting feral cats that you have encountered, please contact us either by phone at (972) 671-0429 or e-mail us. A 'Team Feral' volunteer will contact you to explain our program, offer helpful advice on trapping, transport, and future care for your feral cats. Our volunteers are generally unable to handle the trapping for you. Our program's focus is on providing the education and tools to concerned individuals in order assist more feral cats in our community.

Caregiver Agreement
A Caregiver Agreement must be completed, signed and returned to Feral Friends. You can fax toll free 1-866-865-6671, e-mail, or mail to Feral Friends, 13410 Preston Rd., #1237, Dallas, Texas 75240. Once the Caregiver Agreement is returned, identification numbers will be issued to you for each of the cats you wish to assist. We track every cat that comes through our system in order produce statistical data. Caregivers' personal information is never shared with the public.

Clinic Locations
You will be given a list of the Veterinarians that currently participate in our Feral Spay/Neuter Program. You should make an appointment with the vet that is most convenient to you and give the ID numbers of the cats you are planning to trap. If your trapping is unsuccessful, please contact the vet to release the surgery space and re-schedule.

Traps
You are welcome to check out a humane trap by going to our Adoption Center at PetsMart-Coit/Campbell in Dallas on either Saturday (11am to 5pm) or Sunday (12noon to 4pm). There is a $25 deposit for each trap. Deposits will be returned to you if you return the trap(s) within two weeks.

Discounted Rates

We offer discounted rates through our program. We are billed for services by the cats' identification numbers. Our program offers sterilization (spay or neuter), rabies vaccination, and ear-tipping (left ear). If additional services (such as vaccinations, in-heat or pregnancy charges, wound care, bite quarantine) are required, these rates are negotiated with the veterinarian directly. Payment for services are made to Feral Friends via cash, check, credit card or securely on-line.

Spay (female) - $40
Neuter (male) - $30
Rabies Vaccination - $7
Eartip - n/c
