Curly (who seems to prefer being called “Wayne”) was adopted from Feral Friends in 2010, but his adopter had to give him up when they moved to a no-pets condo. He’s a shy but loving boy who can while away many an hour perched in a window watching “cat TV.” Tall cat trees are another favorite pastime, especially when they have enclosed spaces where he can feel warm and snug. And speaking of snug, Curly is also partial to his “cave” – a box lined with towels where he can go to relax when he’s feeling stressed.
With Curly, patience will be the name of the game. Although he likes watching the dogs outside from the safety of a windowsill, he gets nervous around dogs up close. Young children scare him, too. But he’s wonderful with other cats and integrates with them very quickly, and he’s quite the cuddly conversationalist once he gets to know a new human.
Curly is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready for a fresh start in a forever home. He would love to be adopted along with Doodlebug, whom he’s been with since they were kittens. If you’d like to meet him, please contact us at adopt@FeralFriends.org
