I can’t hear, but that doesn’t stop me from being a really great companion!
I’m a 2 year old boy that LOVES to play. There aren’t enough hours in the day for me to play with someone…I have a LOT of energy and can get a little wound up at times. I lost my home when people didn’t understand that I can’t hear and didn’t know what they were telling me. I am very willing to learn, do good with schedules and structure…I just need someone that is willing to take time so I understand your non-verbal cues.
Because I can’t hear, I do things a little bit different than other cats…but that’s the fun having me around! I soak up the environment, do things a little goofy and will keep you entertained!
WHAT I NEED…since I can’t hear, I am very visual. I really need a window that I can look out and watch the world go by! I’d probably do best as the only cat since I’m not really sure how we’re supposed to play together and I can be too rough. I really like cat friendly dogs and would probably do ok with a proper introduction. I have a lot of energy, love to run, wrestle and can over-stimulated sometimes.
I am so adorable when I finally wear out. I love to just hang out on the couch and curl up with you. My foster parents think I was raised with dogs since I like to follow you around, lay on the floor and watch you and then jump up on the couch next to you.
My foster parents love me, but their other cats are too old to keep up with me. As hard as I try to get their other cats to play, they just get annoyed with me and want to sleep. I need to find a home of my own where I can play with you!
I also enjoy playing with fuzzy toy mice, in a cube and especially a laser toy! I can get over stimulated sometimes and bite a bit thinking you’re a toy, so I’d probably do best with adults and someone who understands cats my behavior.
I have a very sweet side and have a ton of love to give to whoever can give me a little time to settle in and love. I’m social, neutered, have all my shots and even microchipped. All I need is a new forever home. To find out more about me, you can call 972.671.0429 or email adopt@FeralFriends.org.
