Sara Jane is a 2 year old medium hair tortishell. She was rescued from the Carrollton Animal Shelter when they were out of room and needed help getting the cats adopted.  When my 9 year old son and I first saw Sara Jane at that shelter she was reaching her paw through the cage to get our attention as if to say, "please pick me!".  We took her out of the cage and held her for a while and she purred and looked in our eyes and that was all it took!  So Sara Jane went home with us and she has been an amazing cat ever since. 

 

Our veterinarian says that Sara Jane is about 2 years old.  Her foster mom does not have enough good things to say about her. Sara Jane is a very friendly girl and loves attention.  She enjoys reading and cuddling on the couch during a good movie. She also loves to have her belly rubbed.  This sweet girl will do well with a family who has children and even other cats and even a cat friendly dog. She will also do well with a single person as long as there is another kitty to keep her company while her owner is away at work.
