Bruce was adopted from Feral Friends in 2010, but his adopter had to give him up when they moved to a no-pets condo. He answers often to “Bruce” or “Baby Boy.” He enjoys peering down from the highest spot on the cat tree, or on top of his 6-foot-tall box with its blanket topper. When he’s not playing “cat-goyle” from some high perch, he’ll pace along the back of the couch, occasionally pausing to groom his foster mom’s hair. He’s prone to nipping those he loves, so please consider it a compliment when you feel his teeth on your arm. If you get upset, so will he.
This shy sweetheart gets along well with other cats once he’s had a chance to adjust. He will need a bit of extra time and attention to warm up to new people, especially men. His ideal home would be a quiet place without dogs or young children, both of which frighten him. Like his best friend, Wayne, he appreciates a snug hidey-hole where he can relax once in a while.
Bruce is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready for a fresh start in a forever home. He would love to be adopted along with Wayne, whom he’s been with since they were kittens. If you’d like to meet him, please contact us at adopt@FeralFriends.org.
