Adoption Criteria

If you currently have any unaltered pets, do not apply to adopt one from us. Only 20 percent of kittens born in the U.S. live past their first birthday. The rest are abandoned, run over, killed by other animals, or euthanized at local animal shelters.

Those that survive often become absorbed into the feral population. We are dedicated to improving the lives of all animals and believe that the key is prevention (through sterilization) and education.

• All of our cats are “indoor only.” We do not adopt indoor/outdoor or outdoor-only cats. Many of our cats have been rescued from difficult lives on the streets, and it is our intention to provide them with the safest possible homes.
• We only work with the primary caregiver of the animal. If you have a friend or relative that you think would bond well with one of our adoptable cats or kittens, they will need to contact us in person. We don’t adopt cats or kittens as gifts.
• We strongly discourage declawing. Four-paw declaws are not permitted under any circumstances.
• You must be prepared to devote time and attention to the pet and meet its social and emotional needs, as well as physical ones.
